I've set up a mailing list for discussing issues related to independent consulting. Having had discussions with both Kurt and Erik yesterday and today along some very similar lines, I took the initiative and created the list. Right now it's just Kurt, Erik, and myself. Right now, it's got the unfortunate name of league-l@p90.net which I chose thinking of Alan Moore's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but I'd already like to change the name and address of the list because it sounds like "legal" which isn't what I wanted to get across. Name suggestions are welcomed before this list gets any bigger than it is right now. I talked with Kurt hypothetically about creating a sort of loose association of consultants that can share resources at some level and call on one another to fill in gaps. While I'd like to experiment with pushing that idea forward, I see this list as being a discussion forum rather than a conduit for doing business. Maybe that could change, but lets think-tank this stuff out first. And I apologize for subscribing the two of you to this list without asking first. It's just a resource, and nobody has to use it. I just want to get things rolling. Steve
