(Switching this back into league...) Not yet - I'm still limping along on my Palm Pro - I left my III with the Minstrel over at my mother-in-law's house, won't get it back until next weekend. I decided to bite the bullet. I'm buying a thinkpad i1300 today - 1024x768 screen, celeron 600, 64 megs of RAM, 6 gig hard drive. I may not need to carry my palm around anymore. I've got a higher-end gig coming up, and felt weird about walking into the client's office and asking them for a computer to work on, so I bit. Being able to walk into a client with everything I need saved in my Palm is nice, but after working with one client with repetetive stress syndrome, and trying to type on a Microsoft Natural Keyboard, with a funky trackball, I decided I'd be better off with my own system. I tend to bring a lot of reference documentation with me, and realized the folders alone are all the size and half the weight of a laptop anyways. Why not bring e-copies instead and get the laptop in the process? > -----Original Message----- > From: Steven M.
